Since June 8, 2022, the Rwandan army has reinforced its positions not far from Chanzu and launched deadly offensives against the positions of blue helmets in Muhati not far from Bikenge in the Jomba groupement. Three peacekeepers, one of whom was seriously injured. Nearly an organic RDF battalion wearing a new green-black military uniform was seen in the positions occupied by the M23 rebels. Friday, June 10, the RDF attacked and occupied the locality of Bigamba not far from Bunagana. Continuing its offensive, from Muhabura locality in Ruhengeri in Rwanda, the Rwandan army fired bombs on Congolese localities. On the same Friday, June 10, 2022, between 4:15 p.m. and 4:45 p.m., bombs fired from a long-range cannon from Rwanda (22 kilometers) exploded in Biruma and Kabaya, localities of the Kisigari grouping in the Bwisha chiefdom in Rutshuru not far from Rumangabo. These bombs cruelly gutted two schoolchildren, Ishaka Mapenzi (7 years old) and Jérémie Nziuvira (6 years old) and injured a third. The bombs launched on this locality would be in retaliation against the population. It was in Biruma that the population had captured on May 28, 2022 the two Rwandan soldiers presented to the public.
