Father Jean de Dieu KASEREKA KANEFU of the Congregation of Priests Pallotins was kidnapped by strangers at the Village of Ntamugenga / Bweza around 00:30 am on the night of September 16, 2017, when he was on vacation in his biological family.
Le père KASEREKA KANEFU Jean de Dieu de la congrégation des pères PALOTTIN a été retrouvé la nuit du samedi 16 Septembre 2017 aux environ de 20 heures dans le Parc national de VIRUNGA. Selon certains témoignages c’est après avoir donné la rançon exigée que le père KANEFU a été libéré des mains de ses ravisseurs. Le prêtre aurait dit être satisfait de sa libération car il n’avait pas encore reçu de tortures. Il a passé sa journée d’hier dimanche en famille.
Father KASEREKA KANEFU Jean de Dieu was found the night of Saturday, September 16, 2017 at approximately 8;00pm in the VIRUNGA National Park. According to some testimonies it is after giving the required ransom that father KANEFU was released from the hands of his captors.
