Clashes between the Congolese army (FARDC) and an armed group identified as Mai-Mai militiamen early this morning of Thursday 6th July 2017 in the neighborhood Rwangoma (Beu commune) in the east of the city of Beni.
Incursion of the suspected May may this morning in Beni. A 13-year-old girl named Rachele Mukirania resident in Benengule died by a stray bullet in her chest patch.
«Comme bilan partiel, il y a eu 13 Mai-Mai tués, 13 capturés et 6 blessés. Et le professionnalisme militaire nous apprend qu’il faut prendre en charge les blessés, ennemis soient-ils.
