Here is why -
Taximen took retaliation for the murder of their colleague recently. They decided to attack the village HUTU by burning their houses. The tension builds up after the burial of the victim.
Our source reports about 263 houses of HUTU burned in KISHISHE, between 15 and 18:00 last Tuesday. (Still to be confirmed). The same source indicates that several HUTU families fearing for their safety have fled massively towards BAMBO (Chief town of the Grouping) and others have fled to the bush.
We also learn that, in retaliation for the fires perpetrated by NANDE Youth, a group of NYATURA fighters reportedly made incursion instead of mourning on Tuesday night (April 3rd to 4am) To the NANDE that were there.
During this incursion, 3 people were reportedly killed. They are: KATELE LIKOLYAMWANA, GRACE and DANIEL. This would have put oil on the fire to the point of confusing the situation on Wednesday.
The Congolese soldiers and the Police are at work to continue in their retrenchment
of NYATURA and to control the tension in the village.
