July 13th 2017, The soldiers fired on three civilians at Kahumiro, two kilometers from Kibirizi, in the Mutanda group, in Bwito chiefdom. It was around 10:00 am . One of the three farmers died suddenly. His body would be buried on the spot. The second is seriously injured and the last, who managed to get out healthy, was captured by the military.
Les militaires avaient tiré sur 3 civils à Kahumiro, à 2 km de Kibirizi, dans le groupement Mutanda, en chefferie de Bwito. C’était vers 10h00. Une personne parmi les 3 agriculteurs a succombé sur le coup. Son corps serait enterré sur place. Le deuxième est grièvement blessé et le dernier, qui a réussi à sortir sain, a été capturé par les militaires.
